Hannah Sullivan

Hannah is an instructor and choreographer in West Michigan with a record of extensive involvement in the dance community. She is the Hearts In Step Dance Ensemble’s co-artistic director and has written and choreographed original contemporary ballets for them since 2011. Hannah has created other original works that have been performed by companies such as the Grand Rapids Ballet, Dance In The Annex (DITA), Macomb Ballet Company, Blue Lake International Ensemble, Young People’s Ballet Theatre, and Muskegon Dance Company. She is also a faculty member for the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, LOCALZ iNTENSiVEs, and Grand Rapids Civic Theater. In 2013 Hannah collaborated on and performed in the ArtPrize juror-nominated installation “Angle of Repose” by DITA. She has been a commonly featured performer with DITA and has also participated in various West Michigan productions. Most recently, Hannah worked with Seth Thompson to produce their dance film “Monogrammatic.” Hannah wrote, choreographed, and performed in this powerful performance which has premiered at the Grand Rapids Feminist Film Festival and Regional Alternative Dance festival.
